Volcanic ash update - Bali

Monday 6 July

All Jetstar services in and out of Bali for Monday 6 July 2015 are expected to operate, conditions permitting.

 This includes an additional return service Sydney-Bali / Bali-Sydney as follows:

  • Sydney to Bali on Mon, 6 Jul at 7:25 PM (Sydney time). If you are still wanting to travel to Bali please contact Jetstar reservations on 131 538.
  • Bali to Sydney on Tue, 7 Jul at 1:10 AM (Denpasar time). If you are still wanting to travel to Sydney please contact Jetstar reservations on 001 803 852 9779.

Please note the situation remains variable - we are closely monitoring the weather conditions and ash cloud from Mt Raung and will advise passengers directly if anything changes.

We also advise all passengers to regularly check their Flight Status on www.jetstar.com prior to travelling to the airport.

Customers holding tickets on Jetstar Bali services 4 July, 5 July or 6 July who wish to change their flights may do so as outlined below.

Sunday 5 July

Unless previously advised, all Jetstar daylight services in and out of Bali for Sunday 5 July 2015 will operate to schedule today due to improved weather conditions in the vicinity of Denpasar International Airport.

Please note the conditions remain variable - we continue to monitor the weather conditions and ash cloud closely and will advise passengers directly if the situation changes.

We also advise all passengers to regularly check their Flight Status  on www.jetstar.com prior to travelling to the airport.

Customers holding tickets on Jetstar Bali services 4 July, 5 July or 6 July who wish to change their flights may do so as outlined below.

Once again, we would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding regarding the disruptions caused by the volcanic ash during the past few days.

Flight change options
Options are available to Jetstar customers holding a valid ticket issued on 4, 5 or 6 July 2015 who are affected by this weather event in Indonesia.

Please contact Jetstar within seven (7) days of your original flight date to:

  • Rebook your travel on an alternative flight between the same destinations on your original booking departing within seven (7) days of the intended travel date free of charge.
  • Rebook your travel on an alternative flight between the same destinations on your original booking departing after seven (7) days of the intended travel date and we will waive the change fee and you will pay the fare difference.
  • Request a refund in Jetstar travel vouchers to the value of the fare purchased on the original affected flight. Travel vouchers are valid for six months.

We are closely monitoring the conditions in Bali and will provide further updates on the impact to flights as required.

Terminal Change in Kuala Lumpur from 8 July

From 8 July 2015, Jetstar Asia will operate flights into and out of the KLIA2 terminal at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, relocating from the KLIA Main Terminal. 

KLIA 2 is located less than two kilometres away from the KLIA Main Terminal. The terminals are accessible from KL Sentral via the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA transit.
